From the car park in Widdecombe up onto the high moor and along the ridge to drop down to Grimspound for lunch. Return by more or less the same track. In the final lane down into Widdecombe, Eddie the dog found a pair of lambs grazing on the bank just before we saw them and they were away. Recovered some time later with help from a local who had seen him chasing them across her paddok and back up towards the moor. One lamb with a badly torn ear.
